I feel that the winding crown for the OPUS model is somehow underwhelming and should be improved. As the OPUS was inspired by aviation cockpit instruments, it is natural to get some design inspiration from pilot / flieger watches. I particularly like the onion and diamond-shaped crown on pilot watches.
The new design for the winding crown has since been commissioned and completed. The new crown design is inspired by the diamond-shaped crown of pilot / flieger watches but with more restrained dimensions and elegantly sized. The ALCADUS logo is engraved on the crown and and filled with Super-LumiNova C3 luminescent.
Can’t wait to see next round of prototypes with this new lumed crown.
